Privacy policy
Jon beaver is a personal assistant operated by Jon Nordland for his own use. Questions about this policy or data handling can be sent to jonnordland@gmail.com.
Google data and its purpose
When Jon connects his Google account, Beaver uses the account identity and Gmail data allowed by the consent screen. This may include message headers, contents, attachments, threads, labels and drafts. It uses this data to summarize messages, identify tasks, organize mail and prepare or send replies that Jon requests.
Processing and sharing
Relevant message content may be processed by AI services selected by Jon, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, to carry out his requested assistant tasks. Only data needed for those tasks should be provided. Messages are sent to their recipients only when Jon instructs the assistant to send them.
Google user data is not sold or used for advertising. It is not used to train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models. Any transfer to an AI provider must be limited to processing these personal assistant tasks under terms and settings that prohibit such training.
Jon beaver's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials are encrypted in Jon's own credential store. Task notes and necessary working records may be kept in his private management repository. They are retained while useful for his personal tasks and removed at his direction. Connected AI providers process submitted content under the terms and retention settings of the account Jon uses.
Control and deletion
Jon can revoke the connection through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future access; it does not automatically erase previously saved notes or provider records. Requests to delete Beaver's retained records can be made using the contact email above.
This public website
This informational website has no sign-in, forms, advertising or application analytics. It does not receive Gmail data or OAuth credentials. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process ordinary request metadata, such as IP addresses, for delivery and security.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date. Material changes to Google access require a new authorization where applicable.
